Troubleshooting
The extension isn't highlighting anything
Confirm you're in a supported application
Check that the application isn't disabled in admin settings
Try typing something obviously sensitive: "my email is test@example.com"
Verify the extension is logged in (click the extension icon)
Highlights appear in unexpected places
Detection is pattern-based. Sometimes a word matches a pattern without being truly sensitive. This is normal. Ignore highlights that don't apply to your situation.
Analytics seem incomplete
Analytics update periodically, not in real-time
Recent activity may take a few hours to appear
Team-level data requires at least 10 active users (privacy safeguard)
A user can't log in
Check their status in the user list
Resend the invitation if status is "pending"
Confirm they're using Chrome or Edge
Have them try logging out and back in
The extension icon is grayed out
The extension may be disabled โ right-click and check settings
The current site may not be supported
Try refreshing the page
